We are located in beautiful Anderson, South Carolina. Anderson Motor Speedway is one of the most spectacular displays of motorsports in the Southeastern United States. Anderson Motor Speedway's wide straight-aways and tight, tricky corners are infamous for producing close, competitive short track racing each and every weekend.

Anderson Motor Speedway roars into action each Friday night throughout the summer. A full lineup of the best driving talent from across the Carolinas and Georgia invade the "Supertrack of the Carolinas" each week in the quest for the checkered flag. Anderson Motor Speedway showcases some of the fiercest competition around.

Anderson Motor Speedway management wants your visit to the 3/8 asphalt oval to be a fun and entertaining experience. We offer a little something for everyone, so make sure to check the weekly schedule page to see what is on the calendar for the date in which you plan to visit. Below are several items that may make planning for your trip to AMS more enjoyable. Hope to see you at the races very soon!

AMS has three ticket locations: 1) MAIN GRANDSTAND LOCATION: This area is located in the breezeway of the Main/Tower Building on the AMS Ground. The Main Grandstands accept cash and or credit/debit cards. 2) TRACKSIDE/TERRACED PARKING: This area is located in the First Turn Area of the Racetrack. The Trackside Parking area accepts cash only at this time. Lots of people enjoy this area to tailgate out of their cars/trucks. Space is limited so plan to come early to get a spot. 3) PIT/INFIELD AREA: This area is for Drivers, Crew, Etc. The Pit Gate Entrance Building accepts cash and credit/debit cards. An annual NASCAR License is Mandatory for ALL AMS Drivers. INEX Licenses are required for all US Legends competitors.

AMS Race Fans may park in the AMS Parking Lot for FREE. This is the grassy, well-lit area just behind the AMS Main Grandstand. There is no fee for parking at our weekly race events. Special Events/Leased Events may differ so please check the Homepage as it will list any special parking fees.

Do you want to bring your kids to the track for a birthday party? Have a big group of people that want to have a great time on a Friday night? Anderson Motor Speedway has many different group rates for all shapes and sizes. Call the speedway office today for more information.

Casual attire is the most comfortable at the speedway in the stands. Just remember, you are outdoors, so dress accordingly for the elements. Don’t forget the sunscreen. The races can get loud at times so if you have sensitive hearing, ear plugs or ear muffs may be the ticket for you.

At this time, AMS does allow a 15 x 15 cooler (except for special events) in the Grandstand Area. We ask that you do not bring outside food as we offer a variety of homemade concession items at reasonable prices. For a complete list of Concession items please see CONCESSIONS section below! ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS ALLOWED!!!

PRACTICE BEGINS AT 6PM.
RACING BEGINS AT 8PM.

AMS offers one full service restroom in the MAIN Grandstands and one full service restroom in the Pit/Infield Area. The Restrooms are located to the left of the Main/Tower Building along the Main Concourse Area. The restroom facility along Trackside/Terraced Parking are Portable Toilets. Main Grandstand restrooms do have a changing table for infants.

AMS has two (2) concession stands on the property, one at the Main Entrance along the Main concourse. The other is located in the middle of the Infield Area (beside the Tech Shed). AMS Concessions feature ice cold Coca Cola products, Sweet Tea and sports drinks to quench your thirst. Grilled Angus burgers with the works are our specialty.

Tena’s Homemade Chili tops our Dogs and if you want some southern flair you better try our Southern Bird Dog – hotdog bun stuffed with chicken fingers, shredded cheese, bacon crumbles and a dollop of Honey Mustard if you like. For a quick snack, you can’t go wrong with a State Fair Corn Dog, an order of Onion Rings OR a heaping order of Fries/Nachos All-the-way (cheese, chili, jalapenos).

We also have fresh popcorn, boiled and roasted peanuts, and an assortment of your favorite candies. Our food is freshly prepared and affordable for the entire family.

AMS owners are the most pet-friendly folks you’ll ever meet, BUT for Insurance purposes you must leave your pets at home. Service Dogs are allowed. Also, it is never a good idea to leave your dogs in the car during the races. Pets would be much more comfortable at home.

AMS has a souvenir stand located on the other side of the Main Concession. It’s on the right of the Main Grandstand entrance. Here you will find all the latest AMS apparel and souvenirs for the kiddos. We offer t-shirts, hoodies, hats, seat cushions, ear plugs, checkered flags, light-up toys and MORE!!! Come check us out!!!

Grandstand seating is general admission and first come, first seated. We do have a handicap accessible area. The seating is concrete bleachers. The Main Concourse is concrete. We do allow race fans to bring chairs into the Grandstand area on our regular race night event. We ask that folks keep chairs along the top row in order to give everyone a good spot for viewing the races.

AMS does have a Smoking Section – it is to right of the AMS Grandstand – nearest Turn One. It is marked as SMOKING SECTION. There is NO SMOKING allowed within the other seating areas of the Grandstand. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the receptacles provided.

Please help us keep our Planet Clean…AMS does encourage responsible trash disposal. Throughout the Main Concourse there are Coca Cola Recycling Bins. Please dispose of your plastic containers in these recycle containers.

AMS provides weekly kid’s club activities including FREE face-painting to entertain our very youngest race fans. This club is for anyone 12 and under. It’s totally FREE. JR FAN CLUB CHECK-IN is just to the right of the Main Entrance in the Grandstands. Be sure to stop in and ask about upcoming kid’s events (Bicycle Races, Big Wheel Races, Jump Rope Contests, Etc).
