As we embark upon a New Year, we are planning for another thrilling season of racing.  The 2015 race card at Anderson Motor Speedway is slotted to offer Upstate race fans a variety of short track excitement.  The 52nd continuous season of racing is set to kick off with the Season Opener on Friday, March 13th featuring NASCAR Whelen All American Series racing action to include the Late Model Stock division, Mini Stocks, Front Wheel Drives, Renegades, BM Mods, Supers and Front Wheel Drives.  US Legends Series competition will also continue as a weekly addition to the program at AMS.

The NASCAR Late Model Stocks will compete on a rotating schedule (every other week) with lots of special events sprinkled between to offer a little something for everyone.  There are three Twin 40 Late Model Stock events throughout the schedule to offer fans double the action (Double Dip Night).

Following the opener, PASS South Super Late Model Series will invade Anderson Motor Speedway for the PEACH BLOSSOM SPECIAL.  The PASS South Super Late Model Series, celebrating its tenth anniversary, will visit the 3/8 mile asphalt oval on March 21s ; marking the first of two appearances (the second event - the Electric City 125 is set for June 19th). The PASS Pro Late Model Series, USAC Midgets and the US Legends will also compete.

The Southeast Super Truck Series will also headline two events at Anderson.  The first being on April 11th and the second will be August 29th.  The Southeast Super Trucks have added the Southeast Super Stock touring division to coincide with their races for the 2015 season.  This unique combo should really pack a punch!

The 2015 season will mark the 5th year in a row that the action-packed Knights of Destruction Series will visit the Anderson Motor Speedway.  The series, formerly known as Crash A Rama, offers area fans a fun-filled night of special events including a school bus racing, skid plate racing, boat and camper racing, stunt shows and much more.

Roaring into summer, the action will heat up on July 17th as the KOMA Unwind Southern Modified Tour will hit the track.  Fans really enjoyed getting up close and personal with their favorite Madhouse Modified Stars at last year’s event.

Capping out great season of racing will be the 6th Annual Rupert Porter Memorial Shrine Race.  Last year’s event netted over $70,000 to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
